Dial-a-Ride Service
Now taking applications for Amador Transit’s new “Dial-a-Ride” service for ADA qualified disabled passengers
If you have a disability which prevents you from using the bus some or all of the time, you may be eligible for Amador Transit’s new “Dial-a-Ride” ADA Paratransit Service. This is a new shared ride, curb-to-curb service for the Jackson and Sutter Creek areas. (For passengers outside the Dial-A-Ride service area, fixed-route service can deviate by pre-arrangement up to 3/4 mile to serve ADA eligible riders. Route deviations will only be allowed for ADA eligible passengers.)
In order to use this new service, you will need an approved ADA application.
To apply, please do the following:
- Fill out the ADA Paratransit Certification Application, (or have someone fill it out for you), and then have the Professional Verification form signed by one of the professionals listed at the top of that page.
- Return the completed application and professional verification to Amador Transit.
More information about the Dial-a-Ride service and eligibility guidelines is available below:
Please contact Robin by phone at 267-9395 or email at mobility@amadortransit.com if you have any questions or need assistance completing the application.
